D of E Fitness Session

FitnessOn Thursday the group of year 10 students undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award attended their latest training session – this time focussing on physical fitness.

 

After a brief warm up, thegroup started with some shuttle runs, which then lead to shuttle runs featuring bodyweight exercises.  After a quick water break the group completed an interval running session, followed by more shuttle runs and bodyweight exercises.  A game of basketball wasplayed before thegroup allcooleddown together with some gentle stretching.

 

The students are one step closer to being ‘expedition ready’ this summer!
