We were approached by Di Smith (our founding headteacher) earlier this year and asked to be involved in a project with the 1805 club and the dockyard.
A student from Portsmouth University was creating an animation about the death of Nelson and wanted voices for the characters that were the right age.
Two of the Year 9 Drama ambassadors Oakley Perkinson and Simon Manchip were perfect for the job. After several attempts at recording a fairly long piece of script they managed to do it perfectly and what you see is the end result of the project.
The students will appear in the next 1805 newsletter and have been invited for a VIP tour of the Victory as a thank you for their work.
