Year 9 Health Day

Year 9 recently had the opportunity to trial a new Personal Development day.  The year group spent the day looking at different aspects of Health, ranging from physical health, emotional health and healthy relationships.


Miss Cooper and the wellbeing team ran personal fitness sessions in the sports hall, Miss Hill and Mrs Barnes got the students making yummy healthy snacks and a serious of outside speakers talked to the students about self-esteem, healthy relationships and emotional wellbeing.  The day was a success and the year group seemed to really take on board the key messages about how to keep themselves healthy.
