Last week 13 KS3 students took part in the national ‘BBC School Report’ and planned, researched, scripted, interviewed for, filmed, presented, directed and edited their own (20min long!) news broadcast on the news and issues that affect them. Some of the top stories were: the amount of sugar in our foods; cyberbullying and women in sport.
They were all incredible and an absolute credit to themselves and the school. I was blown away by their confidence, dedication, journalistic skills and impressive leadership.
