I am delighted to share with you the Challenge Partners Quality Assurance Review report based upon the external review that took place a couple weeks ago. The review team was led by Alan Taylor-Bennett, a long-serving but recently retired member of HMI (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate) who are the Inspectors who lead OFSTED inspection teams. The other 4 reviewers are senior colleagues from different schools across the country who have experience in judging the quality of teaching and learning in schools.
As you will see from the report, the Review team judged Admiral Lord Nelson School to be ‘outstanding’ overall; this is a well-deserved recognition of the hard work of staff, students, Governors and parents over the past few years to create what is now a truly wonderful learning environment both in lessons and outside of lessons, at break-times and in extra-curricular activities.
The staff here all recognise that we have amazing young people to work with and I wish to thank you for all that you do to support your child with their learning.
I am so proud of everything that we are all achieving together at Admiral Lord Nelson School – this is a great school and you have my continued assurance that we will always strive to make it the very best experience possible for your child throughout their time with us.
Dare to Dream, Aim to Achieve!
