On Tuesday 1st October we were delighted to host 7 School Leaders from Nigeria at Admiral Lord Nelson School. They chose to visit our school to learn more about our inclusive ethos, our creative curriculum, how state education works in the UK and especially how we focus on developing young people into lifelong learners with a true understanding of the wider world. During the day they met the senior leadership team, talked to students, discussed our curriculum, behaviour policies and learnt about how we support students with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). They were very impressed with all of the students and staff that they met and thoroughly enjoyed being in their lessons, talking to them about their learning and their opinions on what makes Admiral Lord Nelson School special.
It is always a privilege to host International School visitors as ALNS as we develop our collaborative work even further. They described our school as “amazing and inspiring” and thought our school moto summed us up perfectly – Dare to Dream, Aim to Achieve!
