Kooth (Digital Mental Health Support) Webinars

As we head towards the end of the academic year, this is the last call for Kooth professional webinars. The Zoom sessions provide an overview of Kooth alongside a live tour of the site, demonstrating the features which can support children and young people with their emotional health and wellbeing.

Any child or young person aged 11-18 in Portsmouth can be signposted to Kooth. Kooth can support a young person should they be placed on a waiting list, not meet thresholds for support or as an additional support alongside other services. There are no referrals required as young people can sign up themselves in less than five minutes and it’s completely free.

We are particularly mindful of the summer holidays and the need for young people to know they have a means of support during this break, especially those who will have the added worries of exam results or those in year 6 who are moving schools in September.

Kooth is holding free information sessions for parents and carers in June and July. The Zoom sessions are designed to help parents/carers understand how Kooth can support their child with their mental health and wellbeing. Each session includes: a presentation on Kooth (including what to consider when wanting to have a conversation with young people about how they’re feeling), a live tour of the site and a Q&A opportunity.
