Sports Mark Gold

This year (2017-18) we completed the Sainsburys Sports Mark application, which is a detailed process of analysing our sporting provision here at Admiral Lord Nelson School. This ranks us nationally against other schools with regards to amount of in-school and extra-curricular sport we do. We have now achieved Sports Mark GOLD! This is very rare and is the highest grading of certification we can get in sport and we are honestly elated!

This year we have done more than ever. We entered all the local Portsmouth competitions performing consistently well and also qualified for five different Hampshire tournaments with our Football, Basketball, Volleyball and Hockey teams representing Portsmouth against other Hampshire schools. Our sports leaders have also done us proud helping to provide sports opportunities for other children in the city.
