Moving to Secondary school is a big and exciting change for you, but you will soon settle in. There is a lot of information for both students and parents on this website and on this page we have tried to collect together the most important for you.

Virtual Induction

Due to the current pandemic, we are unable to welcome you all in the normal fashion.

Instead, this year, we are inviting you to attend our Virtual Induction with Headteacher Mrs Hardingham and assistant head teacher Mrs Holness.

Watch the video below to learn more about what you'll need to know in September, what we offer, what the uniform is like and more. As mentioned at the end, you can find links to the Heads of House Zoom meetings by clicking on your house banner below the video.

Want to look around the school before you start? We've put together a virtual tour here for you! You can see the maps in a bigger size further down the page.

Mrs Holness answers some of the questions you have sent in and you can meet some of our staff on the YouTube playlist below.

What is year 7 like?

We asked some of our Year 7s your most common questions.

Be Awesome - Go Big!
(Year 6 Transition Project)

Be Awesome, Go Big is a set of activities to help Year 6 students transition into Year 7. It can be used by students and parents at home or in school with teachers in class.

It is designed to be motivational, helpful and reassuring and to help young people feel valued, loved, encouraged and equipped for the journey ahead.
